Join as we feature one of our 2024 Concerto Competition winners, Hannah Han playing Violin Concerto in D Minor, Op. 47 by Jean Sibelius.
Our season will culminate with the choreographic symphony, “Daphnis and Chloe” Suite No. 2 by the French composer, pianist and conductor, Maurice Ravel, which was originally commissioned by the Russian impresario, Serge Diaghilev, for the Ballet Russes. It is full of lush harmonies, and considered by many to be Ravel’s passionate masterpiece.
