Huibo Hou Presents The Power of Simplicity in B&W Landscape Photography
The power of black and white images is often rooted in their simplicity. Huibo's favorite type of black and white landscape images are the clean, simple ones with just a few essential elements in each frame, leaving space for viewers to imagine and contemplate. In this presentation, she will delve deep into a few ideas and techniques in seeking such simplicity, both in the field and during the postprocessing. Topics include: seeing and composing with essential elements; using long exposure to aid simplicity and create mood; managing tones and textures in postprocessing.
