Life Lines: A Writing Journey (Creative Aging)
Join writer and former Delaware poet laureate JoAnn Balingit on an eight-week journey into memory and story!
Participants in “Life Lines” will practice the art of writing in community. We'll engage in memory work, and respond to sample poems, stories and essays. Each week we'll write together from prompts. This generative course offers tools to bring stories to life through revising and sharing.
This free course is offered for adults aged 55+, and all materials will be provided. Registration is required and limited to 12 students.
Please note: When you sign up for the first class on May 27, you’re registering for the entire course. The class will meet the same day & time each week on Tuesdays, May 27 - July 15, from 11am-1pm. Details on the exhibition and reception will be discussed in class.
This program is supported, in part, by a grant from the Delaware Division of the Arts, a state agency, in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts. The Division promotes Delaware arts events on DelawareScene.com.
