DRAWING THE HUMAN FIGURE
This three week instructed class will focus on common problems associated with composition, contour, gesture, structure, and proportion that arise when sketching from a live clothed or nude model. Through group and individual instruction, students will learn aspects of technique, anatomical principles, and artistry designed to develop confidence and skill in their ability to draw the human body. Be prepared at the first class with graphite pencils, kneaded eraser, 18” X 24” rough newsprint or fine tooth sketch pad, and suitable backing board to support the drawing pad. All levels of drawing experience from absolute beginner to advanced are welcome. Additional $30 model fee due to instructor in exact cash.
