Step into a world of creativity and artistic exploration at Art Techniques and Themes, a dynamic summer youth program designed with options for kids ages 6-10 or 11-14! Each day, young artists will engage in hands-on projects that explore various art techniques, themes, and styles inspired by the artworks of The Biggs Museum collection and local Delaware artists.
Through hands-on activities like painting, sculpting, and drawing, campers will develop their artistic skills while expressing their creativity. The program will also feature guest artists, exciting technical demonstrations, and visits to Downtown Dover for inspiration. Participants will learn about art history and techniques that have shaped artistic movements across time. The camp will culminate in an exciting end-of-program art show and family celebration where students will proudly showcase their creations.
