Delaware Playwrights
In 2016 The Delaware Division of the Arts wondered if everyone who applied for a competitive grant for playwrighting might benefit from networking and collaborating with each other, and the Delaware Playwrights was born.
We meet on the second or third Sunday of every month at the Brandywine Library to give each other feedback on scripts submitted to the group. Our members range from veterans who have had their work produced in Newark, Wilmington, and Philadelphia to writers who are just learning how to format a stage play. The atmosphere is warm, honest, and encouraging.Â
We've also hosted guest speakers, and streamed classes from the web. We invite anyone interested to contact Mark Feil at 302-740-1693 or mrfeil@earthlink.net for more information.
