United Neighbors
United Neighbors is a community celebration of the neighborhoods bordering I-95, emphasizing the unique experiences, rich history, and impact of the construction of I-95, as well as our hopes for the future of our community.
For three days in October, the W 7th Street Bridge, between Jackson & Adams Sts, will be closed to vehicles and transformed to include: an art installation on the bridge; a free Community Meal; live music; temporary bridge improvements such as plants, flowers, lights; and a Community Day with resources and activities for the whole family.
United Neighbors believes that we can strengthen the community by literally, and figuratively, bridging the gap between the neighborhoods that I-95 divided back when it was constructed.
