The non-profit Richard Allen Coalition wants to restore the school’s legacy as an educational and community center. Physically, the old building won’t just become a museum to freeze history, but a community center to breathe new life into the town. Provide a space that will house the artifacts of the heritage of the African American community in Sussex County. Serve as a community center where educational programs for young people, informational workshops to educate our seniors and parents on services available to them, recreational and artistic events for people of all ages age held. Conduct workshops that provide young people with the knowledge of the past so they can understand the present and develop the skills to build a better future for themselves and their community.

We are located on S. Railroad Ave. Railroad Ave is located right off the railroad track going through Georgetown's main street, Market St. in the town of Georgetown. As we are situated on six acres of land, we have ample parking.
