Newark Arts Alliance

The Newark Arts Alliance, established in 1993, is a community cultural center with a gallery space, a classroom and a Members' Gallery Shop, open to the public 5 days a week. The main gallery hosts new exhibits 4-5 weeks throughout the year, and our Members Gallery Shop allows us to present the work of over 100 local artists at a time with new merchandise being circulated monthly. Art classes for all ages are offered year round.

A variety of recurring, monthly programs are hosted in our space, including an open mic, an acoustic music jam, a fiber arts meetup and Hafla Belly Dance performances. We also take art experiences out into the community through our Art to Go program, and host a 2-week arts summer camp for youth ages 7-12. Special events like our popular Newark Garden Tour and Holiday Art Market have 20+ year history of delighting community members in the Newark area.

Membership is open to all but not required to participate in most activities.
