Finishing our showcase of Music Director Finalists is conductor Michelle Di Russo. Composer Gabriela Ortiz’s evocative 2021 work, Kauyumari, opens the concert, followed by pianist Janice Carissa performing Prokofiev’s virtuosic Third Piano Concerto. The program ends with Brahms’ monumental Symphony No. 4. Concert Run Time: Approx. 75 minutes, plus a 20-minute intermission.
