The Delaware Symphony Orchestra
Established over 100 years ago, the Delaware Symphony Orchestra (DSO) is among the premier orchestras in the U.S., and the only professional orchestra in Delaware. The DSO presents classical and contemporary repertoire in orchestral and chamber music concerts throughout the year. Along with its educational programs, community outreach, and other special events, the DSO attracts audiences of all ages and experience throughout the First State and Brandywine Valley. In 2022-2023, Music Director David Amado celebrated 20 years on the DSO podium. He was named the DSO's first Music Director Laureate in July 2023.
