THE NUTCRACKER
A BELOVED TALE FOR ALL AGES!
The annual Holiday classic returns to the Dover High School Theatre on Fri, Dec 6 at 7 pm and on Sat, Dec 7, at 2 pm & 7 pm. It is a timeless tale of how one Christmas Eve, a young girl saves the life of a Nutcracker Prince who has been transformed into an ugly doll, thus breaking a long-standing spell. As a reward, he takes her on a magical journey to his home, the Kingdom of Sweets, where the characters celebrate the arrival of their Prince and the girl who saved his life.
Children after the Sat, Dec 7, 2 pm show will have a chance to "Meet & Greet" favorite characters from the ballet, share a photo opportunity, and receive a bag with Nutcracker memorabilia.
A "Holiday Craft Fair" will be held at the same location, on Sat, Dec 7, 9 am–2 pm with over 89 vendors, food trucks and local artisans. Do your Holiday shopping, attend the ballet, and join the characters after the show.
