Figure Drawing Group

First through fourth Thursdays  6:30–9:00pm  Cost: $16 for nonmembers, $14 for members



We encourage everyone to be vaccinated but cannot require it. We want everyone to be safe and healthy.



Figure Drawing Group: We encourage everyone to sign up as far ahead as you can to be sure you get the dates you want as dates fill up and some may end up on a waiting list. If you know you can’t make a date in advance (or need to switch) or wish to cancel last minute, let Cathy know and she can make changes to your registration or make your space available to someone else. Cancellations made the day of the session cannot be refunded. Email Cathy at: info@newarkartsalliance.org  If you arrive to a session without pre-registering, you may not be given a spot as we often reach capacity and cannot fit more. Enrolling online in advance is your best chance of securing a space.

FOR DRAWING SESSIONS…

Artists bring their own supplies for a chance to work from a live model. No instruction provided. The $16 fee covers the cost of the model and helps support the NAA. Artists under the age of 18 may attend our Figure Drawing program with prior permission of the Program Coordinator and a permission slip from their parent or guardian.

Email Michele if you would like to get notifications about specific details about each session, like who is modeling or if there’s a theme or plan for the evening although we do our best to list this information below. Live models in each session will alternate between short to long poses, 2.5 hour long poses and/or costume, portrait and other themes.

There is NO instruction.



Drop-ins are welcome (though to be guaranteed a spot  preregister on Active).
