Join us in person for a conversation on a French movie previously seen at home. Please note: basic French conversational ability is required. This group is for participants 18 years and older.
This month's meeting discussion is on Ouistreham (Between Two Worlds). This 2021 drama is based on French journalist Florence Aubenas's bestselling non-fiction work Le Quai de Ouistreham, investigating rising precarity in French society through her experiences in the northern port city of Caen. Directed by Emmanuel Carrère. Written by Florence Aubenas, Emmanuel Carrère, and Hélène Devynck. Starring Juliette Binoche, Louise Pociecka, and Steve Papagiannis.
