We invite you to attend the first Arts & Culture Caucus meeting, taking place Fri. Feb 28 from 12-12:30PM virtually via Zoom. This meeting will be a briefing on the CREATE Plan.

The CREATE Plan, released in August 2024, is the first-of-its-kind in the nation - a comprehensive analysis of Delaware’s creative economy and recommendations for the advancement of the arts and integration into the state’s economic development.

2024 Progress: Last year, the Arts & Culture Caucus...

Engaged legislators and the public in the development of the CREATE Plan, released August 2024

Circulated a “Dear Colleague” letter of support that helped lead to increased funding for arts organizations across the state granted by the Delaware Division of the Arts.

Passed a resolution designating March 2024 as “March for the Arts” in Delaware to recognize the critical role that the arts play in providing a well-rounded education for Delaware’s youth.

Connected legislators with members of the art sector at regular meetings – over 120 attendees across caucus meetings last year.
