Friends in Music - Collaborative Concert with the Fulda Youth Orchestra
The Wilmington Children’s Chorus welcomes the Youth Orchestra from our Sister City of Fulda, Germany. As they mark their 7th exchange and the 14th year of their collaboration, they will join forces to celebrate their friendship through music. The program spans various genres, including classical, folk, contemporary, and gospel, and features works composed by J.S. Bach, Marques L.A. Garrett, Reynaldo Hahn, Arturo Márquez, Ennio Morricone, André J. Thomas, and Raymond Wise. We are thrilled to present the premiere of Ardessia, an original work arranged for the occasion by Wilmington’s own, Jonathan Whitney.
Admission is free. Suggested $20 donation will be collected at the door.
Presented by Wilmington Children's Chorus.
