Newark Independent Film Festival
The 2nd Annual Newark Independent Film Festival is scheduled for August 14th, 15th, and 16th, 2025, taking place at the Chapel Street Players, a non-profit performing arts theater in the heart of Newark, Delaware.
We will be showcasing more than 50 short films of various genres from around the world. A special screening of several of our award winning films from 2024 will happen opening night on the evening of Thursday, August 14th. Featuring a Q&A with award winning filmmaker and Delaware native, Din Thomas. Additionally, a sneak preview of the feature length thriller "Mirror Life", about a woman searching for her cousin who disappeared after entering an illegal clinical trial, will take place on Friday, August 15th, tentatively at 8:30PM.
