The Philadelphia Bookstore Crawl is an annual celebration of Greater Philadelphia’s wildly vibrant and wonderful bookstore scene. This year marks the third crawl, taking place on Saturday, August 23, 2025.



The concept is simple: on one exciting day, participating bookstores throw open their doors with discounted books, exciting giveaways, special events, in-store author signings, and more surprises. There’s no set route or trail to follow, just a constellation of amazing shops, each doing something special to celebrate reading and community.
