Live Performance of The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby
Inspired by The Royal Shakespeare Company’s adaptation of his great-great-grandfather’s 1838 epic novel, Gerald Charles Dickens captivates in this one-man performance. With immense energy, he creates 25 different characters and tells the story of The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby. The fast-moving plot follows Nickleby’s travels from Devon, to London, to Yorkshire, and to Portsmouth, meeting some of Dickens’ greatest characters such as Wackford Squeers, Smike Newman Noggs, Sir Mulbery Hawke and many others. Performance-only tickets: $30; $25 for Members; $15 for children under 12. Package pricing (show and general admission): $40; $25 for Members; $20 for children under 12.
Presented by Winterthur Museum, Garden & Library.
