SouthEastern Delaware Artists Studio Tour (SEDAST)
This year, after a 2-year hiatus, artists producing multiple art forms and fine crafts, all local, some locally known, some regionally known and some internationally collected, will welcome you to their working studios.
For 25 years, an ever-evolving group of professional artists and artisans from the southeastern coastal area of Sussex County, Delaware, have been opening their working studios and galleries and sharing their creativity, skills and stories with the public during a two-day annual tour in November.
This year, in a break from tradition, SEDAST will take place earlier in November than usual: Saturday and Sunday, November 12th and 13th. A map of the studios included on the tour can be found here: https://artstudiotour.com/assets/files/2022_Map.pdf
We hope you’ll mark your calendars and join us for the return of this popular free, self-guided tour of the working studios of some of Southeastern Delaware's best known and most universally collected artists and artisans.
You are invited to travel at your leisure, picking which studios to visit during these two days - or visit them all - and discover new artists and new directions our core artists have headed and how they’ve grown and developed.
And don’t forget to buy tickets for the Art in the Hat, benefitting local school arts programs. To date, we’ve raised and donated more than $60,000 to fill art teachers’ requests for their students.
This area has a wealth of talent and we hope you’ll mark your calendar for Saturday and Sunday, November 12 & 13, from 10am to 4pm, and share in the creative riches offered. Don’t forget to bring friends and family!
