Monoprints and Mimosas: The Art of Clay Printing
Learn how to make one of a kind monoprints and enjoy the company of others as we sip mimosas, taste some cheeses and get our creative juices flowing. In this workshop you will learn how to mix up colored slip (wet clay), layer it on a flat slab of clay, use pastels, permanent pigments, stencils and texture tools to create a multilayered composition. When you are ready to make a print, you will practice rolling the print so that what is on your slab transfers to the material we print on. No experience necessary. Just a willingness to leave your inner critic at the door and be open to experimentation. You will leave with a couple of your own original prints. With instructor Robin Sesan.
