Fierce Desires: A New History of Sex and Sexuality in America By Rebecca L. Davis
The Arden Library Gild and The Arden Scholars Gild presenting:
History scholar Rebecca L. Davis discussing her recent book, Fierce Desires: A New History of Sex and Sexuality in America. She will be discussing the research that went into, her most recent book — a landmark work—and the first authoritative history of sex ansexuality in the Americas in three decades.
Davis, a Professor of History at the University of Delaware, demonstrates how fiercely we have always valued our desires, and how far we are willing to go to defend them.
She will have copies of her book to sell and autograph.
