Fall Salve Workshop
What is salve? Why and How Does One Make it? Join Rav Lulav (she/her) of Shovel & Fork Farms, LLC, to learn how to make healing salves like the ones the farm is known for! We will explore the healing properties of the flowers and herbs, how to grow and harvest them, the drying and infusion processes, and finally how to turn them into a salve that participants can make at home. Calendula is known for its anti-inflammatory properties, particularly on skin, helping to speed up the healing process, and soothing a variety of irritations, like rashes and bug bites. Comfrey is a powerful pain reliever, and has traditionally been used to repair broken bones because it regenerates cells! Join us for either workshop, or both.
