Rockwood Movie Club
Join us each month inside Rockwood for a screening of varied films that capture the essence of the Victorian era followed by a guided discussion exploring the historical themes and cultural context of the film. Bring your own dinner or snacks to this screening and round table discussion.

Sept – Last Voyage of the Demeter (2023) Follow the doomed crew of a merchant ship, Demeter, as it transports a hull full of special cargo from Transylvania to England. Watch as they are hunted one by one by the very thing they are carrying during the harrowing sea journey. (Rated: R)
October - Sleepy Hollow (1999) - Set in 1799 and drenched in Gothic atmosphere, this supernatural mystery follows constable Ichabod Crane as he investigates a series of beheadings in the eerie village of Sleepy Hollow - rumored to be the work of a ghostly horseman - Rated R
Nov – 1917 (2019) This film follows two young British soldiers during World War I who must cross enemy lines on a desperate mission to deliver a message that could save 1,600 men from walking into a deadly trap. (Rated R)
