America’s Anchor: The War of Independence on the Delaware River
Join the Delaware Historical Society as we continue our book talk series! On November 6th, we'll be hosting Kennard Wiggins, author of "America's Anchor." The talk will be based upon a chapter in his book, highlighting the War of Independence on the Delaware River.
Brig. Gen. Kennard R. Wiggins, Jr., (DE ANG Ret.) is a Delaware native who graduated from the University of Delaware and has more than 37 years of service to the Delaware Air National Guard and the United States Air Force.
He was formerly curator for the Delaware Military Museum, is a history advisor to Wilmington University and the Pencader Heritage Museum, and he has written several books on Delaware history.
