Duck Creek Library I Love To Write Day Celebration
Get ready to grab your pens, notebooks, and imagination! The Duck Creek Regional Library will host a special community celebration for the 23rd anniversary of I Love To Write Day on Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Founded in 2002 by Delaware author and ghostwriter John Riddle, I Love To Write Day is a grassroots campaign that encourages people of all ages to spend time writing, from letters and poems to short stories and journal entries.
“This event has grown far beyond what I ever imagined,” said Riddle. “When I launched I Love To Write Day 23 years ago, I simply wanted to remind people how powerful the written word can be. Writing connects us, to ourselves, to others, and to the world around us.”
The Duck Creek Library celebration will feature:
