Fall Concert: How Can I Keep from Singing?
Ever had a driveway moment? Those times when you're listening to a song in your car or headphones and you can’t bring yourself to stop the music in order to move on with your day. How many times have you found a piece of music so captivating that it gets stuck in your head and refuses to leave? This concert is born from just such an experience, a joyous obsession with Matt & Adam Podd’s breathtaking arrangement of "How Can I Keep From Singing?". The simple, yet profound beauty of this piece inspired a deeper reflection: What is it about music that brings us so much joy? For our students, the love of singing is born at the Choir School and never leaves them.
In a world that often feels fractured and divided, this program is an invitation to rediscover the profoundly unifying power of music. It is a celebration of finding solace, connection, and pure delight in the everyday. We hope you enjoy an evening that explores themes of community, togetherness, and hope, all anchored by the radiant core of the Podd brothers' arrangement of the famous “How Can I Keep From Singing?” tune.
Through a tapestry of sound, we will journey together and prove that even when the world is challenging, we can always find a reason to sing. This concert is more than just a performance; it is a testament to the enduring human spirit and a heartfelt reminder that in harmony, we can find our way back to each other.
