Black Love Art Exhibit Showcase by Sakreea Jackson and Brian Mills
“Black Love” — Art Exhibition by Sa-Kreea & Brian
 The Delaware Contemporary

“Black Love” is a visual celebration of connection, creativity, and commitment. This exhibition is a collaborative labor of love between two artists—Sa-Kreea and Brian, who are not only partners in art, but partners in life.
Through a collection of individual and collaborative paintings, we explore what it means to love and create in tandem. Each brushstroke reflects the intimacy, vulnerability, and strength that define Black love—not just as romantic, but as revolutionary. Our work honors everyday expressions of care, joy, resilience, and the deep-rooted bond that grows when two people choose to build something beautiful together.
This body of work is inspired by our shared experiences, our cultural heritage, and the intentional way we show up for each other in life and in the studio. You’ll find pieces that carry our individual voices and others where those voices merge into one visual rhythm.
Our hope is that viewers leave not only inspired by the artwork, but reminded that Black love—in all its forms—is worthy of being seen, celebrated, and preserved.
