A Child’s Christmas in Wales & poetry for the holiday season

Rockwood’s poet in residence, David P. Kozinski, and actress and director Patti Allis Mengers, will present the Dylan Thomas classic, along with other holiday-themed poems by Longfellow, Marge Piercy and Ted Kooser, among others.

There’ll be an ‘open mic’ so bring a favorite poem or two short ones to share. A five-minute time limit will be observed.

For more than 50 years, Patti Allis Mengers has been a fixture on the Delaware Valley theater scene as an actress, director, playwright and critic. Among the companies with whom she has worked are Plays and Players, Philadelphia, the Arden (Delaware) Shakespeare Gild, Players Club of Swarthmore, Hedgerow, Spotlight, Wilmington Drama League, Manayunk-Roxborough Art Center, and the online troupe, PlayZoomers.
