Weekly Blues Jam
Each Thursday throughout the year, Central Delaware Blues Society brings in a local or regional band to host the weekly Blues jam. The host band will play the first set and then musicians and vocalists who sign up will be called up to join a variety of musicians, with the host band joining in toward the end. Anyone is welcome to attend and watch this enjoyable night of live music by aspiring and accomplished musicians alike. In fact, you'll often see some of Delaware's best musicians dropping by to join in. Doors at 6:00 music at 7:00 - 10:00 pm DONATIONS at the door help us pay the host band each week. Thanks for your help to accomplish that goal.
This is an OPEN JAM! So if you want to play singers & harp players please bring your Microphones, guitars, keyboards, horns and drummers bring those sticks!
Be sure to check the schedule to see who is hosting AND to make sure the jam is happening. Sometimes we have nationally touring artists giving a ticketed show; other times we have to cancel due to venue availability and other causes. But, it's not often! We love our jams!
