THE MYSTERIOUS DISAPPERANCE OF AIMEE SEMPLE MCPHERSON
Ages 16 and up. To this day, there is debate about the mysterious 1926 disappearance – and re-appearance of Aimee Semple McPherson, a popular evangelist of the time. Was she kidnapped? Or did the “sensuous sermonizer” fall off the radar for other reasons? Fulbright Scholar and Delaware Humanities Speaker Margaret Opsata will share her findings. Limited seating; preregistration is required.
