Description: In this whimsical handbuilding workshop, students will create a functional cup inspired by their favorite animal - cartoon style! We’ll build the base using pinch-pot and slab techniques, then bring each creature to life with sculpted details, coils, and playful attachments. Along the way, students will explore how to translate recognizable animal features into 3D form while learning what it takes to build a sturdy, watertight piece (even one with legs!). By the end, everyone will have a character-filled creation that’s both adorable and fully functional.
