This course is for photographers ready to move beyond the basics and dive deep into the art of visual storytelling. Together, we’ll explore how to harness light, color, composition, and perspective to create images that don’t just capture a moment but communicate emotion, meaning and vision. Through hands-on projects, creative challenges, and thoughtful critiques, you’ll push the boundaries of your technical skills while developing a stronger, more personal artistic voice. We’ll experiment with advanced techniques in both natural and artificial light, explore long exposures and night photography, and refine post processing as a tool for expression rather than correction.
*Students must have a DSLR camera & tripod. Some class times will change to explore night photography.
