Dec – A Muppets Christmas Carol: is a heartwarming and humorous retelling of Charles Dickens’ classic story, where Michael Caine’s Ebenezer Scrooge is guided by the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Yet to Come—with the Muppets bringing charm, music, and mischief to every scene.
Jan – The Snows of Kilimanjaro: Based on Ernest Hemingway’s short story, the film follows a wounded writer reflecting on his past loves and adventures while on safari in Africa, questioning whether he has wasted his life in pursuit of the wrong dreams. Through sweeping flashbacks from Paris to Spain to Africa, it explores themes of regret, memory, and the search for meaning before death.
Feb – A Farewell to Arms: Set against the backdrop of World War I, this early adaptation of Hemingway’s novel follows American ambulance driver Frederic Henry and British nurse Catherine Barkley as they navigate a doomed romance amid the horrors of war. Poetic and tragic, the film captures the disillusionment of a generation caught between duty, love, and the futility of conflict.
