Little Listeners
Little Listeners is a monthly interactive story time designed for young children and their caregivers, featuring guest readers, engaging stories, and hands-on activities that spark creativity and learning. Perfect for preschoolers and early learners. Bring your favorite stuffy or toy to make it feel even more like story time at home!
In February, we will host a special edition of Little Listeners on Wednesday, February 25, from 10:30 to 11:30 AM, shifting our schedule just for this month to participate in Black Children’s Book Week [link to their website https://blackbabybooks.com/bcbw/] (2/22/26 - 2/28/26)! We’re proud to join this nationwide celebration, whose mission is: “Celebrating Black children and the people who ensure they are represented in books and other media.”
Our Little Listeners Black Children’s Book Week celebration will feature a reading by Keaira Fana Ruiz, a local children’s book author of Black Boys Are, and The Afro-Latino Alphabet: El Alfabeto de Afro-Latino, as well as many others! We will also have Jea Street Jr. joining us to read and perform a song, bringing music and joy to the morning. We hope you’ll join this special celebration.
