Clay Hand Building 101
This beginner-friendly class introduces students to essential hand-building techniques, including pinch, coil, and slab construction. You’ll learn how to shape, join, and refine forms to create functional and sculptural pieces while exploring texture, surface design, and glazing. Additional $35 material fee due to instructor. Ages 18+
Attendance Policy
We understand that unexpected situations may arise, and students may occasionally miss class. However, we are unable to offer make-up classes or projects for missed sessions, late arrivals, or early departures unless the class is cancelled by The Art Studio. If a project has already been created, staff will make every effort to glaze those pieces during the next scheduled glaze day.
