Creative Book Making

We will have some fun with bookmaking in this five-part series. First, explore Japanese Stab Binding over four sessions. In the first class we will make a simple 4 - Hole sewn binding, then building on what we learned in the first class, advance on to three other traditional and much more intricate binding styles. In the final classes, we will make an origami star book and accordion variation using paper we will marble in class. These are great for your own journaling or sketching needs or fantastic as gifts. No experience necessary and all materials provided. Additional $20 material fee. Ages 18+
