Yuval Ron Ensemble | Music of the Abrahamic Faiths, a Concert for Unity and Resilience
Join Groome Church, Seaside Jewish Community, and the Lewes Public Library to be inspired by the musical traditions of Judaism, Sufism (Islamic mystical tradition), and the early Christian Church traditions. Oscar winning composer and world-music record producer Yuval Ron imparts the deep inter-cultural connection between these three traditions, and the musical influences they share. The concert features songs of Sufi origin from Turkey, Afghanistan, Jewish prayers from Morocco, Yemen and Israel, and early Christian Maronite and Armenian chants.
