Intro to Printmaking: Linocut

In this class, you’ll carve, ink, and press your own designs using a satisfying analog art process.

This class focuses on single-color linocut prints, making it perfect for beginners who want to learn the basics of the craft.

You’ll practice carving clean lines, building texture and contrast within one color, inking evenly, and pulling strong prints. By the end of class, you’ll leave with a small set of hand carved blocks, a collection of prints, and the confidence to keep experimenting at home.
