Ceramics Project: Orchid Pot
Learn the basics of ceramic construction, binding, glazing and firing. This month we will make an orchid pot.
Learn the basics of ceramic construction, binding, and glazing. We will cover textured rollers, the use of slip and scoring to bind the piece together, and Stroke & Coat underglaze. Each student will create one fired project, returned to students in one month. See our intro video for more info about instructor Mary Lou Robinson.
Age 16+. Younger kids also welcome with parent. Parent is free unless they are also participating.
All materials provided.
