Wet Into Wet Watercolor Marshes
Wet Into Wet Watercolor Marshes
Painting the marches is one of the most fun things you can do with watercolors. The wet into wet skies and the minimal control of what happens always has a little surprise. You will be learning to paint wet into wet and build your paintings as it slowly dries, learning water control mostly but using the colors you prefer. We will be using fan and bakers' brushes for grasses, and once dry, wet on dry rigger brush trees. You can mask out birds if you like or use white paint for egrets in the water. Mostly enjoy your art as you experience watercolor wet into wet out of control. These classes are designed to help students of all levels learn the basics of watercolor while encouraging experimentation and self-expression.
March 7, 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m
