Taking Stock - Emma Reilly
Taking Stock - an exploration of monotony, repetition, and unexpected beauty found in the average American grocery store. Artist Emma Reilly was born and raised in Wilmington, DE, and recently graduated from Pratt Institute with a major in Painting and a minor in History of Art and Design. This show features a culmination of their past two years work delving into imagery of grocery stores and supermarkets with a focus on food items. Reilly’s pieces explore objecthood, seeking to assign attention and care to mundane items. Refreshments served, Donations welcomed!
