Here at Dogfish Head, we’ve always been proud to call the ‘small wonder’ that is Delaware, home. In fact, we can’t imagine putting down roots anywhere else! We KNOW we aren’t the only ones, so we’re teaming up with 302 Horseshoe Crab again to host 302 Day at our Milton Brewery for the fifth year in a row! An homage to the 302-area code of our First State, 302 Day is a free event that’s all about celebrating the goodness of Delaware. And what better place to celebrate than Delaware’s first brewery?

What to expect:

Come on out to the Milton Brewery on Saturday, March 7 from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. for our 2026 302 Day celebration! Join us alongside 302 Horseshoe Crab for local libations, lawn games, facepainting, food trucks, live music, and LOTS of 302 Horseshoe Crab merch. We’ll be raffling off some goodness and donating proceeds to Delaware State Parks, who will be on-site with their airstream and some cool critters for hands-on fun! We'll be rocking out with live music all day long starting with Homestead Bluegrass from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. followed by Live Band Karaoke with the Nick Kashmanian Trio from 2 – 4 p.m.

Delaware State Parks, the University of Delaware, the Brandywine Zoo and First State Heritage Park will all be part of the celebration! First State Heritage Park will bring Delaware’s history to life with staff in period clothing, historical games, and reproduction artifacts. Don’t miss the auction at 1 p.m. featuring two black surf tags (2022 and 1787) and raffles for a two-night stay at Indian River Marina and a power wheel surf jeep. UD’s spirit team will bring the energy, and the Brandywine Zoo will host a Delaware wildlife table with games, trivia, and prizes, all highlighting conservation efforts.

Plus, we’re adding some disc golf fun! Delaware State Parks will set up two baskets - one for beginners to learn the basics and one for friendly challenges with prizes. All play is first come, first served, so grab a disc and let it fly! Proceeds from raffles benefit Delaware State Parks and their mission to protect and preserve our state’s natural and cultural resources.

Parking at the Milton Brewery is free for all 302 Day attendees. There is limited parking available, so we recommend carpooling or parking in one of the overflow lots at Milton Elementary School (512 Federal St.) or Mariner Middle School (16391 Harbeson Rd.).
