The Department of Theatre and Dance presents Jazzy Nut! on December 6 & 7, 2024. 

This exciting undergraduate dance production offers a fresh take on the beloved holiday classic ballet, the Nutcracker, and was inspired by jazz great Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorn's iconic 1960 interpretation of Tchaikovksy's Nutcracker Suite. Set in New Orleans during the height of the Jazz Age, Lena and her friends jump, jive and slide through a production filled with sweet, fun and toe tapping adventure. This production is sure to delight audiences familiar with the holiday classic through jazz music and dance.

Performances are Friday, Dec. 6 at 7:30 pm and Saturday, Dec. 7 at 2pm and 7:30pm
