Description: In this observational-based drawing class, young artists will explore the building blocks of strong artwork: symmetry, value, dimension, and perspective. Each week introduces a new skill that builds on the last, giving students a solid foundation they can use in any art medium. Students will learn how to look closely and draw what they actually see. We’ll work with real objects in class, practicing ways to measure proportions, compare shapes, and capture accurate details. As their confidence grows, they’ll apply these concepts to create a final drawing that shows what they’ve learned. This class is perfect for kids who want to strengthen their drawing skills, develop an artist’s eye, and have fun exploring the essentials of great art.

Drawing for Kids
- Ages: 10+
- Fee: $60
- 4 week course
- Time: Saturdays 1-3pm
- Date: March 14th - April 4th
