First Friday Artist Meet and Greet with Cool Beans Glass
Join us for a Meet & Greet with our Featured Artist of the Month for March, Gretchen from Cool Beans Glass!
Gretchen started Cool Beans Glass in 2011 after retiring from her job as an elementary school teacher for 30 years. While she was still working full time, she made stained glass to give to friends and family as gifts. After retiring, AND being confined to the house due to the virus, she decided to create an Etsy shop! Her husband, who is super talented with wood-working, makes all her frames from hardwood that they buy at a local lumberyard that specializes in exotic wood. Many things inspire her such as nature, beautifully colored glass or even the shape of the frame. Her goal is to continue to creating and experimenting with new ideas.
