Pastel Workshop: The Value of Color - with Guest Artist Mary Moores
Join guest artist Mary Moores—currently featured at the Biggs Museum—for a hands-on Pastel Workshop exploring how color and shading bring art to life. Participants will practice creating color palettes, learn how to break down images into simple shapes and values, and experiment with different color combinations. Using these techniques, students will create their own pastel painting inspired by works in the museum’s pastel exhibit. Learn more about Mary Moores’ work at marymooresfineart.com
