Hymns of Spring and Renewal
The Delaware Choral Society is thrilled to announce its Annual Spring Concert, “Hymns of Spring and Renewal”. Under the talented artistic direction of Rocky Tejada, the 75-voice Delaware Choral Society is the largest community chorus in Kent County. We are an all-inclusive, non-audition choir, welcoming singers, at least 14 years old, from every corner of our community.
This concert will include a selection by Delaware Choral Society’s 1st Aria Scholarship winner. The program will include traditional hymns, “Great is Thy Faithfulness,” “For the Beauty of the Earth” and “Leaning on the Everlasting Arms.” The spiritual “Ain-a That Good New” and Natalie Sleeth’s arrangement of the Quaker Hymn “Joy in the Morning” will have you tapping your toes.
