Spontaneous Watercolor Painting
Spontaneous Watercolor Painting
It's all about applying colors to the page and allowing them to blend and flow naturally. Picture the scene in your mind, then gradually enhance that vision. I'll share insights on how different water-to- paint ratios interact with various types of paper, from glossy to non- glossy, and how dampness affects your brush strokes. We’ll begin by wetting part of the paper while leaving another section dry, then use a plastic card to gather a few dabs of paint and gently scrape it across the surface, letting the colors mix organically. From there, we’ll explore various watercolor techniques like spraying, splattering, and wet-into-wet, guiding the colors and shapes to create a stunning piece of art.
