Kathleen Donahey “Ireland and Other Places”
Kathleen Donahey “Ireland and Other Places”
Friday, June 5, 5-8pm, Art Loop Reception
Work is on display from June 4 to June 28, 2026
Artist Statement:
I like it when I visit small towns and waterways. The colors and atmosphere entice me. We live in such a unique area and can travel to beautiful places in a few hours. However, I had the pleasure of going even further as I visited Ireland and Europe in the last few years. These trips opened my eyes to new painting possibilities.
I find beauty in simple things, mostly nature inspired. I also like architecture and have painted several restaurants in the Wilmington area. My work is made with oils, wax, and acrylic paint. I also use paper and collage at times.
